Colossal drops nuts around September/October depending on location. Zone 4-8. |

Large, sweet, easy peeling variety from Northern Italy. Plump, rounded nuts in well filled burrs. Marron di Val di Susa Chestnut ripens well in cool Northern regions despite it being a late ripener. Burrs often drop before opening, protecting nuts from predation by wildlife. Good pollinator. |
