Quince Trees

Edible quince trees we have available produce fruits that can be used mostly for cooking, pies, jelly or some can even be eaten fresh. The fruit looks like an irregularly shaped pear or apple with a very tough flesh. But after being cut, quince has a lingering wonderful fragrance and becomes sweeter and softer after cooking. Quince trees are naturally small with very showy blossoms. Quinces are self-fruitful.

KRIMSKAYA QUINCE (Cydonia oblonga)

This variety has bright yellow fruit and a wonderful fruity fragrance. The fruit is big, crisp and juicy. It's a naturally small self-fruitful tree. Krimiskaya quince is sweeter than most and is leaf spot resistant. Zone 5-9.

ORANGE QUINCE (Cydonia oblonga)

Very large orange fleshed, fragrant fruit with a bright yellow skin. Orange Quince is a great variety for jelly, sauces or baking. Beautiful white flowers on a naturally dwarfing tree. Self fruitful. Zone 5-9.
