JEFFERSON HAZELNUT SEEDS (Corylus avellana) |
Produces the largest nut of the OSU varieties developed with blight resistance. Heavy yielding on a smaller tree. Round nuts are flavorful and fill their seed shell well, with very low incidences of blanks, shriveled kernels and mold. The dormant buds of Jefferson Hazelnut are bud mite resistant. The tree is very late blooming compared to most commercial hazelnuts. |
