Top Shelf (TM) has a concentrated harvest of very large firm berries known for great flavor and high yields. Midseason ripening.

POLLINATION/BLOOM TIME: Mid-Blooming, partially self-fertile, but will produce better with another northern highbush variety.
RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:
Full to 3/4 sun, balanced and regular moisture (especially in summer), acid soils - add peat moss or sulfur to increase acidity as needed. Reduce grass competition in root zone by applying 2-3" layer of wood chips. Apply aged manure under chips yearly. This variety does not tolerate heavy soils or bad drainage. Cut out dead wood as needed.
