Large firm berries are exceptionally sweet and flavorful and solid red throughout. Early ripening variety, known for very high yields on vigorous plants. Sweet Sunrise strawberry is June bearing. Zone 5-9.

POLLINATION/BLOOM TIME: Sporadic blooms late spring and all summer long. Self-fertile.
RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:
Full to part sun, balanced moisture, mildly acidic soil of 6.5 - 6.8 ph. Reduce weed competition in root zone. Top dress with compost yearly, and mulch of straw or pine needles can keep berries off damp soils. June bearing - starts early May. Everbearing (aka Day Neutral), with regular stream of ripe berries all summer. Starts bearing 12-14 weeks after planting. Everbearing will generate only 0-1 stolons with new plants each year. Remove old plants each 3-4 years to renew vitality of patch.
