Dark green foliage with reddish bronze new growth. Stevens Cranberry is a Wisconsin variety. Self-fruitful. Low growing, spreading evergreen ground cover, wiry stems, pink flowers. Large fruits with fine flavor. Will grow in peat, sandy, or clay soil if acidic with adequate moisture. If you don't have such a soil, get some peat moss and create a bed for them. They are second only to blueberries in anti-aging, disease fighting antioxidants. Cranberry consumption also prevents urinary tract infections.
