A cross between Northern Spy and Golden Delicious, with a flavor superior to either parent. The Spigold apple has crisp, sweet fruits that are good keepers. A vigorous, productive tree. Blooms late and is pollen sterile. Fireblight resistance.

RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:
Full sun with balanced moisture. Reduce grass competition in root zone. Top dress with compost yearly. Summer prune for airflow and ease of harvest. Spur bearer. Branches may need support or trellis for heavy fruit loads. Late Season ripening.
