Pacific Rhododendron is a west coast large leafed evergreen shrub with big, showy pink to rose colored flowers in late spring. State flower of Washington. Zone 7-9.

Understory growth, dappled sun, it will not thrive in full sun. Moist, acidic soils with some protection from the wind. Thin twiggy growth and older branches as needed.
