An old French bittersweet type known for making a highly fragrant and flavorful drink of reddish color. Tree is upright, somewhat vigorous, and productive.

POLLINATION/BLOOM TIME: Some uncertainty here. Late blooming. Needs another late blooming pollinator such as Northern Spy, Gold Rush, Wolf River or Prairie Fire. Not self-fertile. For appropriate cross pollination click here.
RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:
Full sun, balanced moisture, reduce grass competition in root zone. Top dress with compost yearly. Summer prune for airflow and ease of harvest. Spur bearer. Late Season ripening.
