Medium to large fruit eaten raw when soft, or used in jelly. When soft, Breda Giant Medlar fruit tastes like cinnamon spiced apple butter. A semi dwarf variety, grows to 10-12 ft tall. Dutch origin. Self-fruitful. Zone 4-10.

RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:
Full to 1/2 sun, balanced moisture, reduce grass competition in root zone. Top dress with compost yearly. Bury graft to increase trunk strength. Summer prune for airflow and ease of harvest. Spur bearer.
