Fruit is crisp and sweet and resists browning when cut. Tennosui Asian Pears has fruit the size and shape is typical of European pears. Cross between Tennessee European pear and Hosui Asian pear. Good disease resistance.

RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:
Full sun, balanced moisture, reduce grass competition in root zone. Top dress with compost yearly. Summer prune for airflow and ease of harvest. Spur bearer. Thin fruit ruthlessly to 7-8" between each piece, especially during the tree's early years. Very early ripening. Fruit does not ripen off tree, so check fruit regularly to see if the stem releases from the tree easily when you lift it, and also check to see if seeds have turned brown.
