| A very new, largely fruited Korean variety with similar qualities as the Sweet Scarlet. Grown from cuttings. Durable, solid, large bush/small tree has hundreds of hanging, fragrant, soft yellow blossoms in May, then 3/4" gold-speckled red fruits like pie cherries with a small edible pit in early July. Single trunk features deciduous and leathery dark green leaves with silvery undersides. Can sucker. Fixes nitrogen. Fruit sweet enough to eat fresh, but really shines for juice, fruit leather, or wine. Lightly astringent taste. Hardy to -25F.
