Aronia Berry is a small 4-6 ft. shrub with black, blueberry sized, nutritious fruits in large easy to harvest clusters. Aronia berry juice can now be found in most large supermarkets and is delicious.
The plants have white flowers in spring followed by black berries and brilliant red fall color. It's tolerant of wet sites, widely adapted, and can grow in sun or shade. Also known by the name Chokeberry. Self-fertile. Zone 3-8.
