Similar to Viking in fruit and foliage, but Nero Aronia is only 4 ft. at maturity. This black chokeberry is self feritile.

Full to 1/3 sun, regular balanced moisture, reduce grass competition in root zone. Top dress with compost yearly. Does well in wet soils and woodland edge environments. Summer prune for airflow and ease of harvest. Tip bearer. Tends to spread by suckering to form small patches.
