An abundance of reddish orange cane sheaths in a compact clump, makes this an attractive small specimen. Mature height about 8 ft., can grow in sun or shade and leaves won't curl in sun or freezing weather. In hot regions, Sunset Glow Bamboo prefers afternoon shade. This is a nonspreading, clumping bamboo with evergreen leaves. The hardiest and most popular clumping bamboo. Hardy to -20° F. Not well-suited for the hot and humid South.

RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:
Full to 1/2 sun, balanced moisture, soils high in organic matter, and good drainage. Responds well to regular nitrogen applications.
