 Detailed Description

Reddish-orange fruit in late summer. Sirola™ Seaberry is productive of especially sweet fruit.

ZONE: 3-8

POLLINATION/BLOOM TIME: April. Provide 1 male per 7 females for best pollination.

RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:

Full sun, balanced moisture to start, reduce grass competition in root zone. Very sun-sensitive, so keep top pruned short to guarantee sun penetration to lower branches. Drought-tolerant once established. Tolerates poor soils well. Dislikes simultaneous heat and humidity. Summer prune for airflow and ease of harvest. Fruits on old wood.

CHILL HOURS: (guessing at 800) hours below 45F                                              

DISEASE RESISTANCE: Above average. No known pest or disease problems.

SIZE AT MATURITY:   To 8-12' x 3-4'
