 Detailed Description

German variety with fragrant pink berries used primarily for wine, but good fresh as well. Siegerrebe Grape is a low acid variety ripening early and well suited to cooler regions such as Western Washington. The grafted size is grafted onto a M6 101-14 rootstock. The rootstock is resistant to phylloxera and offers increased cold hardiness and induces earlier ripening by several weeks.

POLLINATION/BLOOM TIME: Self-fertile

RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:

Full sun, balanced moisture, reduce grass competition in root zone. Top dress with compost yearly. Needs regular pruning to encourage fruit and control vine size. Dormant prune for airflow and ease of harvest. Spur bearer.

CHILL HOURS: 100 hours below 45F.

DISEASE RESISTANCE: Average.
