 Detailed Description

When pollinated by a male, Ginkgo biloba produces almond sized orange nuts in a thin shell. Nuts can be stir fried or roasted. Primarily used in Chinese, Korean or Japanese dishes. Nuts come in a fruit-like inedible husk that has a pungent odor - if allowed to rot. However, if nuts are removed before the husk rots then the bad smell isn't present. Salem Lady Ginkgo is a heavy yielding variety of nice nuts. Selected in Salem, Oregon. Grafted Female.
