 Detailed Description

The earliest ripening red raspberry with a really good flavor, ripe starting around mid-June in the north.  A lighter crop is also produced in the fall.  Berries are large, round, and firm. Vigorous canes.  Geneva, NY selection.

ZONE: 4-8

POLLINATION/BLOOM TIME: Self-pollinating.

RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:

Thrives in well-drained soil and full sun. Water regularly, especially during the growing season. Annual pruning is recommended to remove old canes and encourage new growth.

CHILL HOURS: A low chill raspberry, which means they require less than 600 chilling hours to flower and produce fruit.

DISEASE RESISTANCE: Resistant to phytophthora root rot.

SIZE AT MATURITY:  6ft tall and 5ft wide.
