| A very slow growing, shade tolerant evergreen tree. Native to the Pacific Northwest and can be found as an understory tree that grows to about 45 ft. tall. Foliage has been used in anti-cancer medications. Female trees can have red cup-like berries which are poisonous. Pacific Yew prefers well-drained moist soils and cool summer climates. Zone 6. |
