| Aromatic evergreen tree native to Oregon and California. Also known as Myrtlewood. Oregon Bay Laurel is a shade tolerant tree that grow to about 20 ft. a good choice for screening. Leaves can be used fresh or dried in soups and stews, much more potent than store bought bay leaves, use only half as much. Hard and heavy durable wood. Hardy to -7 F. Seeds sold in husks. |
