 Detailed Description

Very sweet and especially flavorful. Medium to medium -large fruit. Northern highbush ripening midsummer. Olympia Blueberry is frost susceptible in spring. Red and orange in fall.

ZONE: 5-8

POLLINATION/BLOOM TIME: Midseason. Needs pollinator.

RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:

Full to 3/4 sun, balanced and regular moisture (especially in summer), acid soils - add peat moss or sulfur to increase acidity as needed. Reduce grass competition in root zone by applying 2-3" layer of wood chips. Apply aged manure under chips yearly. Cut out dead wood as needed.

CHILL HOURS: High: 800 hours below 45F                                        

DISEASE RESISTANCE:  Good.

SIZE AT MATURITY:  To 5-6' x 4'
