 Detailed Description

Excellent wild blueberry flavor, these mid-sized berries ripen a very large crop. Grows to be a 3 foot bush. Self-fruitful though yields increased with a pollinator. Northblue Blueberry is a hardy Minnesota Half-High selection.

ZONE:  3-7

POLLINATION/BLOOM TIME: Midseason

RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:

Full to 3/4 sun, balanced and regular moisture (especially in summer), acid soils - add peat moss or sulfur to increase acidity as needed. Reduce grass competition in root zone by applying 2-3" layer of wood chips. Apply aged manure under chips yearly. Cut out dead wood as needed.

CHILL HOURS:  High: 1000 hours below 45F                                    

DISEASE RESISTANCE:  Good.

SIZE AT MATURITY:  To 3' x 4'
