 Detailed Description

Red striped fruit of good quality for fresh eating or cooking. A natural dwarf. Ripens early, keeps 4 months in cold storage. Norland Apple is a Canadian variety. Hardy to -40 F.  Zone 2.

ZONE:  2-7

POLLINATION/BLOOM TIME:  Early blooming. Pollinated by another variety blooming at the same time. For appropriate cross pollination click HERE

RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:

Full sun, balanced moisture, reduce grass competition in root zone. Top dress with compost yearly. Summer prune for airflow and ease of harvest.  Spur bearer. Tends to over-set fruit; thin completely.  Very early season ripening.  Pick slightly unripe for best keeping quality.
