 Detailed Description

Very sweet, medium sized berry with superior flavor. Heavy yielding in midsummer. Widely adapted northern highbush, Hardyblue Blueberry is especially tolerant of heavy clay soil. Yellow fall color.

ZONE:  4-8

POLLINATION/BLOOM TIME: Mid season/July.

RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:

Full sun, balanced and regular moisture (especially in summer), acid soils - add peat moss or sulfur to increase acidity as needed. Reduce grass competition in root zone by applying 2-3" layer of wood chips. Apply aged manure under chips yearly. Cut out dead wood as needed.

CHILL HOURS:  High: 800-1000 hours below 45F                            

DISEASE RESISTANCE:  Good.

SIZE AT MATURITY:  To 4-5' x 4'
