Constort Black - Large, sweet black fruits, on a vigorous, productive bush. It has a strong flavor not as well liked as Minaj Smyriou or Crandall as a fresh fruit, but good for jam. Consort is the highest black currant variety tested in antioxidants & total phenolics, making it a healthy choice. It has the highest level of resistance to white pine blister rust disease.
