A splendid selection of Pacific dogwood discovered along the Columbia River Gorge near the 'Bridge of the Gods'. Leaves are large with heavy texture and brilliant yellow-red fall color. Ivory White "flowers" are extra-large, up to 6-8" across, with a very round, cup-like character. Sometimes an additional fall bloom will occur! Red fruits attract wildlife. Beautiful understory tree growing to about 20-40 ft. Colrigo Giant may prefer west coast growing conditions. Acidic, well-drained soil is a must. Highly susceptible to anthracnose. Also listed as 'Corrigo Giant'.

RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE: 
Full to 1/2 sun in hotter areas, regular balanced moisture, heavily acidic to neutral soils and good drainage and lots of organic matter. Benefits from 2-4" of mulch to drip line to conserve root moisture. Prune for shape during dry weather.                                    
DISEASE RESISTANCE:  Poor. Highly susceptible to anthracnose.
