Buffaloberry Bushes

Buffaloberry or "Rabbit Berry" is a great nitrogen fixer. It's a widely adapted shrub native to the northern Great Plains.

During the Lewis and Clark Expedition specimens of Buffaloberry were collected and the uses of their berries were documented.
