 Detailed Description
Fruit quality is like Bing, but with a larger fruit and is more rain crack resistant.  Unlike Bing, is self-fruitful and a suitable pollinator for Sam, Gold, and Regina.  $1.00 patent.

ZONE: 5-8

POLLINATION/BLOOM TIME:  Beautiful white blooms in early spring/April. Self-fertile. suitable pollinator for Sam, Gold, and Regina.

RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:

Full to 3/4 sun, balanced moisture. Reduce grass competition in root zone. Top dress with compost yearly. Summer prune for airflow and ease of harvest. Spur bearer. Cut new growth by half each year to keep tree compact. Fruits on 1 year old + wood.

CHILL HOURS: Medium: 700-800 hours below 45°F

DISEASE RESISTANCE:  Below average. Higher resistance to rain induced cracking.  Susceptible to powdery mildew and bacterial canker in wetter climates, best in hot dry regions such as Eastern Washington.

SIZE AT MATURITY:  Dwarf - 8' x 12'| Semi Dwarf – 10-16' x 15'| Standard – 20' x 20'
