Because of its beautiful variegated, pink-tinted foliage Arctic Beauty can be grown as an outstanding ornamental. If desired, it can be pollinated by the male Arctic Beauty Kiwi for edible fruit. It produces a very small, smooth skinned kiwi berry, the first of the season to ripen.
Actinidia kolomikta is the most winter-hardy kiwi vine, to -40F. It grows the best in shade to partial sun or full sun the the Pacific NW. Zone 3-8.
