M26 APPLE ROOTSTOCK (Malus sp.)
This rootstock will create a dwarf tree, typically 8-12 ft. Can be kept even smaller with summer pruning.The advantage of dwarfing rootstocks is in ease of harvest & quick bearing. Small trees can be planted much closer together, allowing for more trees & greater variety in a small area.

M111 ROOTSTOCK (Malus sp.)
A vigorous, well anchored, drought tolerant rootstock. Creates a large semi dwarf tree 15-17 ft. if unpruned. Widely adapted to light or heavy soils. Resistant to collar rot.

ANTANOVKA ROOTSTOCK (Malus antanovka)
This rootstock creates a hardy full sized standard tree. Semi-dwarf & standard rootstocks are much better anchored & more drought tolerant than dwarf rootstock. They can be kept small for ease of harvest & accommodation into smaller spaces by summer pruning.

PRUNUS MYROBALAN ROOTSTOCK
Widely adapted selection of Myrobalan used as rootstock for plums and can also be used for peaches, nectarine and almond. Good resistance to root rot and nematodes. Makes a large semi dwarf tree if unpruned but can be maintained at any height with summer pruning.

BUDAGOVSKI 9 APPLE ROOTSTOCK
BUD 9 dwarfing apple rootstock is similar to M9 but more winter hardy, to zone 3. Induces very early fruiting so it usually requires support.
