MEDITERRANEAN BAY LAUREL (Laurus nobilis)
Evergreen shrub with fragrant leaves used in seasoning. Zone 8-10. Can grow in a pot indoors in a sunny window or outside in mild winter areas as a midsized shrub. Likes sun.

Myrtlewood - Aromatic evergreen tree native to Oregon and California. Shade tolerant, good for screening. Leaves can be used fresh or dried in soups and stews, much more potent than store bought bay leaves, use only half as much. Hard and heavy durable wood. Hardy to minus 7 degrees F.
