This has the largest fruit of our thornless blackberries, ripening several weeks after Arapaho, and 5 days after Navaho. Highly productive of very good tasting berries on erect, freestanding canes. Good hardiness and disease resistance. Zone 5-9.

NAVAHO THORNLESS BLACKBERRY (Rubus sp.)
Best tasting of the erect growing, freestanding thornless blackberries but fruit is smaller than the other varieties. Ripening between Arapaho and Apache. As with other erect blackberries, plant 3 ft. apart. Not quite as hardy as the others. Zone 6-9.

Has large, very flavorful fruit. An improved Marionberry, firmer and more productive. Fruit protrudes outward from the canes making it easier to pick. Probably not well adapted outside the Pacific Northwest. Zone 6-9.
