Asian Pear
There is nothing like the pleasure of biting into a delicious, juicy, crunchy asian pear! The fruit is easy to grow and very productive. The later ripening varieties keep a long time. The asian pears that were kept in cold storage were still edible in May! The trees also have beautiful fall color. These trees are grafted on pyrus betulaefolia semi-dwarf rootstock or the hardier O.H.F. X 513 semi-dwarf rootstock. They are hardy to minus 25F. The varieties are listed in ripening order.
