An evergreen shrub with dense green foliage resembling the Yew tree, and the female varieties produce olive sized, reddish brown, and plum like sweet fruits in the fall. The Japanese Plum Yew can grow to about 10 feet tall and 5-6 feet wide. The shrub is deer and shade tolerant.
